Prior to joining Weil, Steven was an associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP and an associate at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP. He also worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable James Mahan in the United States District Court, District of Nevada.
Steven Rushing’s practice focuses on representing both plaintiffs and defendants in patent litigation and other complex intellectual property matters before the International Trade Commission (ITC), federal district courts, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has worked with clients on cases involving a variety of technologies, including consumer electronics, rare earth metals, semiconductors, medical devices, e-commerce, graphical user interfaces, and computer architecture. Steven’s experience also includes litigating trademarks, complex business disputes and antitrust cases before the Department of Justice.
