Matthew Leung is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department and is based in the Dallas office. His practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration and mediation. He has been a part of Weil teams that have litigated a wide range of disputes, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, employment, fraud, and class actions. Mr. Leung also has played a significant role on Weil teams advising companies and board committees with respect to internal investigations and reviews, including in relation to accounting and executive issues.
Mr. Leung regularly participates in the representation of pro bono clients, particularly those involved in consumer disputes. In recognition of this and other work, he was named the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program volunteer attorney of the month in August 2011.
