Ewa Bober is a legal advisor admitted to practice in Poland and a counsel in the corporate department of the Warsaw office of Weil.
She graduated, with distinction, from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2004, also completing a course in English and European law organised by the British Centre for English and European Legal Studies at the University of Warsaw in co-operation with the University of Cambridge, and qualified as a legal advisor in 2010. Before joining Weil in 2009, she worked in the capital markets departments at the Warsaw offices of two renowned international law firms.
A specialist in corporate law, with a particular focus on capital markets transactions, Ewa has advised issuers, selling shareholders and investment banks on all aspects of international and domestic public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities. She also provides comprehensive legal assistance to financial institutions, including investment funds, and advises clients in connection with tender offers and M&A transactions involving public companies.
The prestigious legal ranking publication Chambers & Partners has ranked Ewa Bober since 2014, and in its 2016 edition ranked her in the “Up and Coming” category for equity capital markets. According to the most recent report, “Ewa Bober receives very positive endorsement from clients. ‘She is not put off by anything and is not intimidated by the other side. She is tough but remains calm even in difficult situations,’ a happy client reports. Her clients include issuers, sellers and investment banks.”
Ewa was singled out as one of the rising stars of the legal profession in a ranking published by a leading Polish daily, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, in 2013.
