Mr. Luise has an active pro bono practice. He currently represents the plaintiffs in the high profile civil rights case, East End Eruv Association, Inc., et al. v. Village of Westhampton Beach, et al., now pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He has also obtained favorable immigration status for pro bono clients through his work with organizations such as Scholars at Risk, through which he obtained asylum for an Iraqi professor and his family, and the New York City Bar Justice Center’s Immigrant Women and Children Project.
Mr. Luise graduated from Cornell University and received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as an Associate Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law.
