Christopher T. Luise
Christopher T. Luise is an associate in Weil’s Litigation Department, where he focuses his practice on a wide spectrum of complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, as well as counseling in connection with internal investigations, proposed transactions, and alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Luise has been involved in the representation of clients in a broad range of industries, including financial services, technology, gaming, retail, and healthcare. He has counseled with respect to and litigated matters involving class actions, breach of contract, fiduciary duties, securities, corporate governance, and bankruptcy issues.

Mr. Luise has an active pro bono practice. He currently represents the plaintiffs in the high profile civil rights case, East End Eruv Association, Inc., et al. v. Village of Westhampton Beach, et al., now pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He has also obtained favorable immigration status for pro bono clients through his work with organizations such as Scholars at Risk, through which he obtained asylum for an Iraqi professor and his family, and the New York City Bar Justice Center’s Immigrant Women and Children Project.

Mr. Luise graduated from Cornell University and received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as an Associate Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law
