Paul Carbonelli is a corporate associate in the New York office in the Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Carbonelli worked in the legal department of one of Canada’s largest investment fund companies.
Mr. Carbonelli received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from York University in 2005 graduating with a High Distinction (summa cum laude).
Mr. Cabonelli received his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and his M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business in 2009. While completing his graduate studies, he spent a summer volunteering at Kituo Cha Sheria, a legal aid NGO in Kenya, working primarily on corporate governance and corporate social responsibility in regards to Kenyan mining and mineral development. He also finished first in his year in the Tory’s Moot Cup and received the BLG Fellowship Award for his contribution to the York University Community.
Mr. Carbonelli is a member of the New York City Bar Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
