Paige Holden Montgomery is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department and is based in the Dallas office. Her practice is focused primarily on complex commercial litigation. She has litigated a wide range of disputes, including: breach of contract, misrepresentation, and fraud disputes; fiduciary duty obligations; securities class actions; actions under federal and state securities laws; bankruptcy-related matters; multi-jurisdictional disputes; and investigatory proceedings by the National Association of Securities Dealers, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Commodity Futures & Trading Commission. Ms. Montgomery has also represented companies and board committees in internal investigations and reviews, including accounting and executive issues.
Ms. Montgomery's pro bono activities have centered on human rights issues, including asylum representation.
Ms. Montgomery is also actively involved in public service and professional activities. Specifically, she is involved with Downtown Dallas, where she serves on two committees. She was a founding member, Vice-President, and President of the Young Leaders Board of the YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas (2007-2009), chaired the Wish Night Fundraising Committee of Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas (2007-2009), and served as Junior League of Dallas Project Chair for Promise House (2007-2008). She also co-chaired Elan Circle's "Deck the Hall," an annual event benefiting the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Montgomery has been a member or sustainer of Attorneys Serving the Community since 2004. Ms. Montgomery participated in the Business Committee for the Arts' Leadership Arts Program in 2006 and was a member of the Judge Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court in 2004.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Montgomery clerked for the Honorable H. Barefoot Sanders of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
