Noel Young is an associate in the Boston office of Weil, Gotshal and Manges. Her practice focuses on the representation of private equity sponsors in connection with acquisitions and dispositions, minority investments, portfolio company restructurings and corporate governance. Ms. Young is a member of the team representing a portfolio company of Providence Equity, and is particularly involved in work concerning its M&A transactions.
Ms. Young’s Pro Bono practice focuses on immigration and asylum representation. She works closely with the Political Asylum Immigration Representation (PAIR) Project, and is the coordinator for all asylum cases in Weil’s Boston office. She is a member of both the Boston Office’s Hiring and Pro Bono Committees. Since 2003, Ms. Young has been a mentor with AFC Mentoring, a Boston-based organization that pairs children who are adopted or in foster care with adults of similar backgrounds.
While earning her law degree, Ms. Young was an immigration paralegal, and an editor of the Suffolk University Law Review. She is proficient in French.
