Nicholas Sethi is an associate in the Litigation Department of Weil, Gotshal, and Manges' New York office. Mr. Sethi's practice focuses on patent litigation, and his experience has involved a wide array of technologies including laparoscopic medical devices, speech-recognition platforms, brand name pharmaceuticals, spam filtering software, and wind turbines.
In 2005, Mr. Sethi graduated with honors from Northwestern University with a B.A. in American Studies. He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2009. During law school, Mr. Sethi served as a judicial intern for the Hon. William. M. Hoeveler in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Sethi served in an individual capacity as an IT consultant to a private equity firm and various New York City startups.
For his pro bono work, Mr. Sethi was named as an Empire State Counsel Honoree for 2010 by the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Sethi is a member of the State Bar of New York and is admitted to practice before the Southern District of New York.
