International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that it has opened an office in Princeton, New Jersey. The New Jersey office opening will mark Weil’s 10th US location and 21st global office. The new office will allow the firm to more seamlessly serve New Jersey-based clients, as well as clients facing litigation in New Jersey. The office will be led by trial lawyer Diane P. Sullivan.
“We have executed a thoughtful and measured approach toward gaining additional scale in key regions. Opening a New Jersey office allows us to have a closer physical presence to many of our pharmaceutical and life sciences clients,” said Weil’s Executive Partner Barry Wolf. “The move underscores our commitment to our client’s needs both multinationally, multijurisdictionally and locally.”
The New Jersey office offers clients high-quality lawyers who have significant experience in both the local courts, as well as federal and state courts around the country. The core expertise of the office will be trial and general litigation work, including complex commercial matters, class actions and product liability/mass torts.
Ms. Sullivan said, “Clients should take today’s announcement as evidence of our commitment that client service is our first priority. With the addition of a New Jersey office, we will be even better positioned to meet the ever growing needs of our clients.”
