Business Finance & Restructuring Associate Ronit Berkovich was quoted in the August 18, 2008 issue of New York. Citing the "good times" for bankruptcy lawyers, the author notes Weil, Gotshal & Manges' work on some of the big Chapter 11 cases this year, including Steve & Barry's and The Sharper Image. Referring to the large number of first year associates entering the department, double the number from last year, Berkovich calls bankruptcy a "hot and sexy" field that "makes great cocktail conversation" and noted that the interest in bankruptcy might be because "lawyers like to see their deals on the front page of The Wall Street Journal."
