Mike is managing partner of the London office. He is also a member of the firm's Management Committee and helps to coordinate the European practice.
He is experienced in public and private mergers & acquisitions, equity issues, private equity/venture capital/LBOs/MBOs, joint ventures and corporate restructuring work. Clients include private equity funds as well as major corporates and financial advisers.
Mike is listed as a leading individual in The Legal 500 (for M&A and private equity), Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession (for M&A and private equity), and IFLR (for Private Equity). Mike was awarded "Partner of the Year" by The Lawyer Awards and was named as one of the UK's "Hot 100" lawyers by The Lawyer magazine. He has also been named ‘Deal Lawyer of the Year’ at the Legal Business Awards. He was listed in The Times’ “Law 100: UK's Most Powerful Lawyers” in 2008.
