Melanie A. Conroy is an associate in the Firm’s Boston and New York offices and a member of the Securities Litigation practice group. Ms. Conroy has worked on a variety of securities and commercial matters in federal and state courts, as well as in private arbitration and mediation. Her practice focuses on securities class action litigation, shareholder derivative suits, litigation arising from mergers and acquisitions, and government investigations.
Ms. Conroy has devoted considerable time to pro bono matters, including the representation of asylum seekers referred to Weil’s pro bono practice from the HIV Law Project.
Ms. Conroy received her B.A., cum laude, in Government and Legal Studies and Religion from Bowdoin College. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as an Executive Editor of the Harvard Human Rights Journal.
