Megan Wantland is an associate in Weil’s Washington, DC office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on patent litigation, including Section 337 investigations before the US International Trade Commission and district court patent litigation. As part of this practice, she has experience in various technologies, including semiconductor processing and packaging, mobile devices, motion-tracking technology, and other computer software and hardware.
Ms. Wantland is actively involved in pro bono at the firm. She has assisted in matters involving discrimination in housing and a veteran’s appeal for service connection benefits.
Ms. Wantland earned her LL.M. in Intellectual Property from The George Washington University Law School and her J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she was a member of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy. Ms. Wantland graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of Mississippi with degrees in Chemistry and Spanish.
Ms. Wantland is a registered agent before the US Patent and Trademark Office.
