Meaghan Thomas-Kennedy is an associate in Weil’s Antitrust/Competition group. Her practice focuses on complex civil and criminal antitrust litigation. Ms. Thomas-Kennedy has been involved in representing clients in a variety of industries, including television broadcasting and consumer electronic goods. She has participated in litigating cartel matters in state and federal courts around the country, including representation of foreign corporations in multi-district class actions.
Ms. Thomas-Kennedy is a member of the Antitrust Sections of both the American Bar Association and New York State Bar Association. She is also a member of the Federal Bar Council, National Association of Women Lawyers, and National LGBT Bar Association.
In her pro bono practice, Ms. Thomas-Kennedy focuses on the legal needs of low-income families and New York City’s LGBT population. She is a 2012 recipient of The Legal Aid Society’s Pro Bono Publico Award.
Ms. Thomas-Kennedy received her juris doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law where she was a Hardy Cross Dillard Fellow and Articles Editor of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law. She graduated a member of Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Smith College.
