Lara Bach is an associate in the Litigation Department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges’ Miami office and a member of the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice group.
Ms. Bach has substantial commercial litigation experience in the defense of multidistrict litigations and has worked on a broad range of commercial disputes in the areas of product liability, bankruptcy, wrongful death, business torts, contractual disputes, and unfair and deceptive trade practices in both the state and federal systems. She has been part of a team of Weil attorneys representing clients including Procter & Gamble and Lehman Brothers.
Throughout her career, Ms. Bach has been an active contributor to the community, mentoring young female law students, and participating in various philanthropic activities including the Miami Dade County Public Defender’s Ensuring Equal Justice Initiative and Lawyers for Children. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Miami-Dade Florida Association for Women Lawyers and the Alumni Association Board of Directors at Rollins College.
Ms. Bach received a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as the Managing Editor of the Michigan Journal of Race & Law and President of the Latino Law Students Association. Prior to law school, Ms. Bach graduated from Rollins College with a degree in Political Science, summa cum laude.
Ms. Bach is fluent in Spanish.
