Joshua Peck is an associate in the Private Equity practice group and is based in Weil's New York office. Mr. Peck has a diverse transactional practice with a focus on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures involving private equity sponsors as well as private and public companies. He also counsels private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on a broad range of general corporate, securities laws, and corporate governance matters, including management arrangements.
Mr. Peck’s experience includes:
- Centerbridge Partners – $1.1 billion take private of P.F. Chang’s China Bistro
- Centerbridge Partners – Acquisition of Rock Bottom Restaurants and Gordon Biersch Brewery Group
- Irving Place Capital - Acquisition of Chromalox, manufacturer of electric heat and control products for industrial heating applications, from Sentinel Capital Partners, L.L.C.
- Oak Hill Capital Partners – Acquisition of Dave & Buster’s
- Arrow Aluminum Acquisition Inc. (a consortium of Japanese companies, including Sumitomo Corporation, Furukawa Sky, Sumitomo Light Metal and ITOCHU) - $680 million acquisition of ARCO Aluminum Inc. from BP Company North America Inc.
- Sanofi-Aventis SA – Acquisition of consumer health care company Chattem, Inc. for $1.9 billion
Mr. Peck attended Fordham University School of Law where he was an associate editor of the Fordham Law Review.
