Josh Bachrach is an associate in the Antitrust/Competition practice of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Mr. Bachrach’s practice focuses on all areas of antitrust law, including mergers, acquisitions, government investigations, private litigation, and general counseling. He has experience across a wide range of industries, including chemicals, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, retail, software, and telecommunications.
Prior to joining Weil, Mr. Bachrach served, pro bono, as a Special Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, and as a legal consultant in Rwanda for a non-governmental organization that specializes in agriculture. As a law student, Mr. Bachrach was a law clerk in the Mergers II Division at the US Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition.
Mr. Bachrach obtained his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was executive editor of The Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, a member of the ADR Advocacy Division of Barristers’ Council, and a Global Teaching Fellow.
Mr. Bachrach is a member of the American Bar Association’s Sections of Antitrust Law and Business Law. He also serves as a member of the Georgetown Law Recent Alumni Advisory Council.
