Joseph G. Krassy is a consultant in the Washington, DC office of Weil, Gotshal and Manges. Mr. Krassy's practice focuses on State and Federal securities laws. Mr. Krassy has extensive experience representing issuers in registering securities under the Securities Act of 1933 and under State securities laws and providing advice and assistance for offerings of securities exempt from such registration; including State, SEC and FINRA regulatory filings.
Mr. Krassy also concentrates on the representation of Broker-Dealers and Investment Advisers. He advises and assists under State and Federal securities laws relating to initial and renewal registrations; regulatory and compliance matters; and representation at FINRA disciplinary proceedings and arbitration hearings.
Mr. Krassy attained the rank of Major in the U.S. Air Force, and was awarded an Air Medal (Oak Leaf Cluster.) He served in Vietnam in 1968.
