Joseph Bernardi is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department, resident in the Boston office. Mr. Bernardi regularly represents private equity sponsors and hedge funds in acquiring and disposing of investments in public and private companies located in the US and internationally. He has particular experience in private acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and minority investments. In addition, Mr. Bernardi also advises portfolio companies on a range of corporate, employment, securities law, and governance issues.
Mr. Bernardi received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Connecticut Law Review, and received his B.S. from Boston College. In addition, Mr. Bernardi is a certified public accountant and practiced with Arthur Andersen LLP and KPMG LLP prior to attending law school.
Mr. Bernardi is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Rhode Island.
