Joe Basile is a partner in the firm's Corporate department where he specializes in representing sophisticated investment funds and corporate clients in their most challenging transactional matters.
Mr. Basile's practice focuses on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, control and minority investments, joint ventures and strategic alliances in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia. In addition, he has extensive experience in distressed M&A transactions and frequently advises on corporate and securities law matters in complex financial restructurings. His clients include major private investment funds and corporate strategics.
Mr. Basile is also an active participant in the professional and non-profit communities. He is a member of the Massachusetts Business Roundtable. His pro bono service includes legal advice to the Northeast Wilderness Trust and the Center for Nonprofit Management at Stonehill College. He is a former member of the Massachusetts State Ethics Commission.
