Joe Basile is a partner in the firm's Corporate department where he specializes in representing sophisticated corporate clients and investment funds in their most challenging transactional matters.
Mr. Basile's practice focuses on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, control and minority investments, joint ventures and strategic alliances in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia. In addition, he has extensive experience in distressed M&A transactions and frequently advises on corporate and securities law matters in complex financial restructurings. His clients include both corporate strategics and major private investment funds.
Mr. Basile is also involved in a number of non-profit and civic activities. His pro bono service includes legal advice to the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, the Center for Nonprofit Management at Stonehill College and the Northeast Wilderness Trust. He is a member of Board of Fellows of Stonehill College as well as a member of the Massachusetts Business Roundtable. He is also a former member of the Massachusetts State Ethics Commission.
