Jonathon Soler is a Co-Head of Weil’s US Private Funds Group. Mr. Soler regularly represents sponsors of private investment funds in connection with the organization and operation of such funds. He also has counseled investment firms in connection with the sale of significant minority interests in their businesses to institutional investors. In addition, Mr. Soler represents certain institutional investors in connection with their investments in private equity funds, venture capital funds and real estate funds.

Mr. Soler’s representative clients include Lindsay Goldberg, Perella Weinberg Partners, American Securities, Genstar Capital, CCMP Capital, Centre Partners and Crow Holdings.

Mr. Soler was named a leading lawyer for Investment Funds: Private Equity: Fund Formation in the US by Chambers USA 2008-2013. Mr. Soler has written and spoken on issues relating to private investment funds.

Mr. Soler received his J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law in 1998 and his B.Comm. (Honours) from the Queen's University School of Business in 1995.
