Jonathan Sokotch is an associate in the firm's employment litigation practice group, where he represents clients in a variety of complex employment law matters, including single plaintiff and class action litigations before multiple forum, including federal and state courts, involving issues such as wage/hour practices, discrimination, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, executive employment contracts, and employee benefit/ERISA issues. He also counsels clients on a wide array of issues that affect the workplace, including, compliance with federal, state and local employment law; employment related manuals, policies and programs; executive employment agreements and separation agreements; issues involving hiring, recruiting and reductions in force.
Mr. Sokotch has served as outside counsel to clients in a wide range of industries, including financial services, retail, health care, security services, food services, and transportation. He has also served as pro-bono employment counsel for several philanthropic and not-for profit organizations.
He is admitted to the bar of the state of New York, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
