Jill D. Meyer is an associate in the Corporate Department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges' Dallas office. Ms. Meyer's practice focuses on complex corporate and transactional matters. Ms. Meyer has worked on teams representing a variety of clients, including Darling International Inc., HM Capital Partners LLC and Texas Instruments Incorporated. In addition, Ms. Meyer undertakes a variety of pro bono activities.
Ms. Meyer received a B.A. (magna cum laude) in Business Administration in 2002 and a M.S. in Accounting in 2003, both from Rhodes College. Ms. Meyer received her J.D. (summa cum laude, Order of the Coif) from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2008, where she was valedictorian and a Hatton W. Sumners Scholar. During law school, Ms. Meyer served as the Corporate Counsel Symposium Editor for the SMU Law Review Association and completed an externship with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Meyer worked as an independent auditor for KPMG. Ms. Meyer is also a certified public accountant.
Ms. Meyer is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and Attorneys Serving the Community.
