Jill Corrigan is an associate in Weil’s Litigation practice group in Washington, DC. Ms. Corrigan participates in all stages of litigation and engages in a diverse practice including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance and investigations, products liability defense, and complex commercial litigation. As part of this practice she has experience with national and international corporations and has experience across a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, financial services, technology, energy, and manufacturing.
Ms. Corrigan is actively involved in pro bono at the firm. She is part of a team fighting for the rights of public housing tenants and is serving as a guardian ad litem advocating on behalf of two young children involved in a custody dispute.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Corrigan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jan L. Brodie at the Circuit Court of Fairfax County. During her clerkship, Ms. Corrigan was involved in the oversight and decision making process of civil, criminal, and family matters.
Ms. Corrigan obtained her J.D., cum laude, from the American University Washington College of Law, where she was a member of the Administrative Law Review and a Classroom Dean’s Fellow for the Legal Writing and Research Program. In addition, Ms. Corrigan participated in the school’s Prosecution Seminar, where she negotiated pleas and tried criminal matters in Maryland State Court, and Ms. Corrigan spent a semester working for the United States Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia General Crimes Unit, assisting in case development. She earned a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University in 2005.
