Jacqueline Marcus has concentrated her practice in business reorganizations, securitizations and secured transactions since joining the firm in 1982. She has represented both creditors and debtors in a wide variety of restructuring and bankruptcy matters.
Ms. Marcus has played a key role representing creditors in the chapter 11 cases of Black Diamond Mining Company, Tropicana Entertainment LLC, Epic Resorts, LLC and Food Barn Stores, Inc., as well as in many out-of-court restructurings. Ms. Marcus also has an active debtor practice and is one of the lead attorneys representing Extended Stay Inc. and its affiliates in its chapter 11 restructuring. She is also part of the team representing Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and its affiliates in its bankruptcy proceedings. Ms. Marcus also works closely with members of Weil Gotshal's Structured Finance practice.
Ms. Marcus has contributed to publications and seminar materials on various restructuring topics.
