Jakub A. Wronski is an associate in the Corporate Department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Mr. Wronski represents financial sponsors and public and private companies in domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, minority investments, divestitures, and recapitalizations. Mr. Wronski also has experience advising portfolio companies of private equity funds on general corporate matters.
Representative transactions include:
- Berkshire Partners LLC – Acquisition of a majority interest in SRS Distribution Inc., the fourth largest residential roofing distributor in the United States.
- Advent International Corporation – Acquisition of a majority stake in AOT Bedding Super Holdings, LLC, a holding company for the Serta and Simmons brands of manufacturers of mattresses and related bedding products.
- Thomas H. Lee Partners – Acquisition of Fogo de Chão Churrascaria, LLC, a chain of churrascaria restaurants with locations in Brazil and the United States.
- Fidelity National Financial, Inc. – A take-private acquisition of O’Charley’s, Inc., a chain of casual dining restaurants with over 200 locations throughout the United States.
Mr. Wronski is actively involved in the firm’s pro bono efforts, providing advice to a variety of local not-for-profits, including St. Columbkille Partnership School, Kids In Need of Defense, and German Shepherd Rescue of New England.
Mr. Wronski graduated from Harvard Law School in 2011, where he was a Symposium Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology and a research assistant at the Berkman Centre for Internet and Society. Prior to his legal career, he studied mechanical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where his research focused on multi-objective optimization algorithms with applications in computer-aided design and product development.
