Ignacio De la Huerta is an associate in the Boston office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Mr. De la Huerta's experience includes representing private equity sponsors and public companies in a variety of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, equity investments and divestitures.
Mr. De la Huerta has been part of several teams representing a range of clients and transactions, including:
- Guggenheim Partners - Acquisition of Dick Clark Productions, which develops and produces television programming for television networks, first-run domestic syndicators, cable networks and advertisers, from Red Zone Capital Management Co., L.L.C.
- Earth Fare, Inc. (a portfolio company of Monitor Clipper Partners) - Secondary buyout by Oak Hill Capital Partners, with Monitor Clipper and Earth Fare management retaining equity interests.
- AmSafe Global Holdings, Inc. (a portfolio company of Berkshire Partners LLC and Greenbriar Equity Group LLC) - $750 million acquisition by TransDigm Group Inc.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. De la Huerta was an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York.
Mr. De la Huerta received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his undergraduate degree from Harvard University. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of New York.
