Gabriel Gregson is a banking and finance partner in Weil’s Silicon Valley office and specializes in financings for private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers. He represents top-tier private equity firms, portfolio companies and other corporate borrowers in connection with first and second lien credit facilities, ABL facilities, mezzanine loans, LBO financings, exit financings, recapitalizations, restructurings and complex intercreditor arrangements.
Gabriel represents clients in sophisticated financing transactions across a variety of industries, including telecommunications, real estate, industrial supply, healthcare, apparel and consumer products.
Mr. Gregson has been recognized for Banking & Finance by Chambers USA 2012-2013, which has described him as “draw[ing] particular praise for work on private equity funds and acquisition financing.”

- Mexx Canada Company (a portfolio company of The Gores Group), an international lifestyle brand, in connection with a Canadian dollar term loan facility and a Canadian dollar asset-based revolving credit facility.
- Silver Lake Sumeru in connection with the financing for its acquisition of cloud-based enterprise software vendor Velocity Technology Solutions.
- Summit Partners in connection with the financing for its acquisition of Help/Systems, a leading provider of data center automation, security and business intelligence solutions.
- Technology Crossover Ventures in connection with a Danish law credit facility for a company in which it has a non¬controlling equity investment.
