Gábor Zoltán Szabó is a senior associate with over 15 years of experience specializing in capital markets and banking & finance, as well as mergers & acquisitions and general corporate matters. He regularly advises Hungarian and international companies on complex transactions.
Since joining Weil’s Budapest office in 2004, Mr. Szabó has represented a wide range of Hungarian and international clients across his main practice areas. Mr. Szabó has advised on major bond programs, accelerated book building and privatizations, regulations relating to bank takeovers and compliance with government and regulatory bodies, licensing procedures, privatizations, corporate governance, restructuring and insolvency-related advice, and litigation.
Prior to joining Weil, Mr. Szabó worked for another major international law firm for almost four years, as well as for Hungarian law firms.
Mr. Szabó is fluent in English in addition to his native Hungarian.
