Evert J. Christensen, Jr. is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department and a member of the Securities Litigation/Corporate Governance practice group. Mr. Christensen's practice focuses on securities, shareholder class action and derivative litigation in federal and state courts throughout the country, as well as counseling public company boards of directors and senior management with respect to a broad range of corporate governance, business and regulatory matters. Mr. Christensen also has experience representing debtors in complex bankruptcy litigation, including significant involvement in the firm's representation of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and General Motors Corporation. In addition, Mr. Christensen devotes considerable time to pro bono matters and has argued criminal appeals before the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division and the New York Court of Appeals.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Christensen served as a law clerk to the Honorable John W. Noble of the Delaware Court of Chancery.
