Edward Reines is a partner in Weil, Gotshal and Manges' Technology Litigation Practice, with a robust trial and appellate practice. Mr. Reines is also active in public service and is dedicated to supporting disabled veterans rights pro bono. He was named one of the Top 100 attorneys in California by the California Daily Journal and one of the Top 75 IP litigators nationally by IP Law & Business. Mr. Reines is also consistently ranked in Chambers USA for Intellectual Property: Patent.
Among his public service commitments, Mr. Reines is Chair of the Federal Circuit's Advisory Council, and Chairs the Patent Rules Committee for ND Cal. He is past president of the Federal Circuit Bar Association and Chair of the AIPLA Amicus Committee. He teaches patent litigation at both Berkeley and Stanford Law Schools.
Mr. Reines graduated from Columbia Law School in 1988 with honors.
