Chris Marando is a Patent Litigation associate in Weil’s Washington, DC office.
His practice focuses on patent litigation, including district court litigation and Section 337 investigations before the United States International Trade Commission. Mr. Marando has experience in various technologies, including storage servers, mobile phone software and hardware, and error correction coding for digital communications. He is also a registered agent before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
In 2010, Mr. Marando obtained his J.D., with honors, from The George Washington University Law School. At George Washington, Mr. Marando was a member of The George Washington Law Review and was the recipient of the Chris Bartok Memorial Award in Patent Law, which is awarded to a member of the graduating class who exhibits excellence in the study of patent law. Mr. Marando graduated from Cornell University in 2006 with a B.S., cum laude, in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
