Cassie Kimmelman is an associate in the firm’s Private Funds practice in New York. Ms. Kimmelman represents private investment fund sponsors in connection with the formation, structuring, and negotiation of their investment funds. Ms. Kimmelman has also represented institutional investors in connection with their investments in private equity funds and other private investment funds. She also advises fund sponsors generally with respect to the Federal securities laws, including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
Ms. Kimmelman’s representative clients include WL Ross & Co. LLC, Snow Phipps Group, LLC, Berkshire Partners LLC, and Crow Holdings Capital Partners ,L.L.C.
Ms. Kimmelman joined the firm in 2008. She received her BA cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
