Casey Burton is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and is based in the Dallas office. His practice is focused primarily on complex commercial litigation. He has litigated a wide range of matters in state and federal court, as well as arbitration and mediation, including: breach of contract, purchase price adjustment disputes, fraud, fraudulent transfer, illegal dividend, and bankruptcy-related litigation matters. Mr. Burton has also participated in a number of internal investigations and has represented clients in connection with investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures & Trading Commission.
Mr. Burton has represented a number of pro bono clients, focusing on persons with mental and/or developmental disabilities.
