Our summer associate program is designed to give you a realistic view of life in Weil's Washington office. When you arrive, you'll be assigned an associate mentor who will provide guidance during your summer with us. From a substantive perspective, we work hard to ensure that you receive assignments in your expressed areas of interest. At the same time, we seek to provide you with broad exposure to the areas of law practiced in the DC office and the attorneys who practice in those areas. We schedule a series of breakfasts and lunches to help you learn about our practice areas, and our Summer Associate Coordinator will work with you to ensure that all your questions are answered.

In addition to work assignments and professional training seminars, we will provide you with a range of social activities to integrate you with your colleagues. We strive to give you a well-rounded view of all the Washington area has to offer, both professionally and socially.

During the summer, we bring the summer associate class from all of the firm's US offices together in New York to experience our "one firm" philosophy, and summer associates are given the opportunity to form relationships with their fellow summer associates, as well as partners, counsel and associates from all of our US-based offices.
