Rotation Process & Feedback
We have in place a tried-and-true program for giving our summer associates maximum exposure to the substantive legal matters that define our practice.
The Washington office does not adhere to a formal rotation process. We encourage you to consider your unique interests and let us know the type of work you would like to pursue. While we aim to accommodate these preferences, we will also supplement your requests with work in other practice areas in order to expose you to areas of the law with which you may not be familiar and to ensure that you meet and work with a variety of our attorneys.
We will provide you with two formal reviews - one midsummer and one at the end of the program. Every attorney with whom you work is encouraged to provide you with substantive, meaningful feedback to ensure your success as a summer associate. Summer associates who would like additional feedback are encouraged to ask supervising attorneys for their input.
