Our summer program is an invaluable learning opportunity. You will be challenged in new and exciting ways while receiving the guidance and support you will need to perform and excel.

Our training programs complement your day-to-day, on-the-job education, which will have you working on active transactions and litigation matters while observing Weil attorneys in various settings. Workshops specifically tailored for summer associates provide hands-on instruction in practical lawyering skills, such as legal writing, advanced research methods, deposition and trial skills and negotiation techniques. You will also be invited to participate in our extensive associate training curriculum – a wide range of in-house legal education programs led by Weil attorneys from every practice area.

To give you a sense of the scope of our practice, we schedule presentations on major matters and practice areas, and offer opportunities to interact with Weil clients. Recent summer programs have included small group private tours and Q&A sessions with our non-profit clients, lunches with general counsel of prominent corporations and government agencies and networking events with firm attorneys and clients, often in support of a firm-dedicated cause.
