Yes. Every summer associate is assigned two partner mentors to guide them throughout the summer program. Each summer associate is also matched with a summer "sibling" who is a junior associate of the firm. Partner Mentors and siblings play a pivotal role in ensuring that each summer associate has the rewarding and inclusive experience the firm intends.

Opportunities to spend time in one of our other offices are available and such requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Yes. Summer associates work on a wide variety of pro bono matters during the summer and also have the opportunity to participate in summer pro bono externships.

- Do summer associates travel for work?
On occasion, summer associates travel for work-related assignments. Most stay in New York throughout the summer, but summer associates may be staffed on matters that take them to other US cities and abroad.

Our dress code is business casual, unless circumstances (e.g., a court appearance or client meeting) require full business attire. Each summer associate represents the firm to its clients and visitors and should present a professional image at all times.

Summer associates typically live in and around the city during the summer program. Before the summer program begins, summer associates are provided with a list of resources they can use to find summer housing.
