Weil considers feedback an important element of the summer experience. Formal evaluations are given midway through the summer program and at the end. Summer associates meet with their Summer Program Committee Partners to discuss all of these formal evaluations. Additionally, at the end of each department rotation, summer associates have individual exit interviews. These sessions provide the opportunity to not only receive, but to give feedback concerning performance and the overall rotation experience.
On an on-going basis, summer associates also receive informal advice from the lawyers with whom they are working, especially on their written work product.
