The firm’s summer program is the foundation of our recruiting efforts. Our program is designed to provide summer associates with a realistic experience in one of the most challenging and rewarding legal environments. The program focuses on promoting meaningful interaction with partners and associates on substantive assignments as well as fostering camaraderie through a variety of social activities.

We believe that attracting talented new lawyers is critical to the future success of the firm. Our summer program is an essential part of our plans for continued success and is designed to provide maximum exposure to the breadth of our practice in the Miami office.

Our summer recreational program includes a full calendar of social, sporting and cultural events. In the past, events have included Florida Marlins games, dinners at partner’s homes, wine tastings, cooking lessons, bowling tournaments, theater and concerts and impromptu tennis matches and golf outings. Summer associates are also invited to participate in the Miami office’s annual attorney weekend retreat and annual office summer picnic. In addition to relaxing and socializing with the attorneys, these informal events further exemplify the balance of work and play that exists in the Miami office.

During the summer, we bring the summer associate class from all of the firm’s US offices together in New York to experience our "one firm" philosophy, and summer associates are given the opportunity to form relationships with their fellow summer associates, as well as partners, counsel and associates from all of our US-based offices.
