Our assignment process provides our summer associates with an opportunity to experience the dynamics of Weil’s Miami office while offering maximum exposure to the substantive legal matters that define our practices.

As a summer associate you will be involved in active cases and transactions, attend client meetings, depositions and court hearings, negotiations, and receive a mix of writing, research and observational assignments from a variety of partners and associates. By summer’s end, you’ll have a realistic picture of life at Weil and what it means to be part of this dynamic firm.

We provide thoughtful, careful feedback to guide your professional development. Assigned lawyers assess your performance and written product on an ongoing basis, just as they do for full-time associates. Twice during the program – at midsummer and summer’s end – you’ll receive a formal evaluation from members of the recruiting committee.
