Two decades ago, Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP set out to formulate clear-cut programs and initiatives to promote diversity in our workplace, and we have endeavored to roll out these programs into every area of our Firm and to continually improve them – in all aspects of our legal practice, operations and administration.

Weil was the first New York City-based law firm to institute a Firm-wide diversity training program and a formal diversity policy in 1984. Since then, Weil has built a solid reputation as a firm in the vanguard of diversity practices. In 2006 and 2007, the Firm set forth to take its diversity to the next level formalizing affinity groups and addressing diversity in our Continental Europe offices.
