Brian D’Amico is a Litigation associate based in Miami who concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and mediations. He has litigated a wide range of disputes, including large consumer and health care class actions; complex securities actions; fraud and bad faith litigation; and fiduciary duty and corporate disputes.
Mr. D’Amico has also represented companies and board committees in internal investigations; bankruptcy-related matters; and investigatory proceedings by the National Association of Securities Dealers, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Commodity Futures & Trading Commission.
Mr. D’Amico has also been involved in a number of pro bono activities. Of particular note, he served as Weil’s 2008 Lend-A-Lawyer to the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, where he devoted a three-month period to representing indigent clients, particularly in family matters.
In 2013, Mr. D’Amico was named a “Florida Rising Star” for Business Litigation by Super Lawyers.
