Weil Gotshal Named “Champion of Diversity” Weil Gotshal News Item – February 8, 2007 Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, along with Pfizer and Prudential Financial, was awarded the "Champion of Diversity" Award by the New York Urban League. The award is presented to companies that understand the need for diversity in the workplace and that embrace diversity to its fullest potential. Many of the speakers at the event, including representatives from the Urban League and the NAACP, praised Weil Gotshal for its efforts in advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace. In addition, The Honorable David Dinkins singled out Weil Gotshal for its pro bono work for The Boys' Choir of Harlem.
