Weil Gotshal Houston Office Receives Top Marks For Diversity

Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP received the highest ranking for diversity in the 2006 Houston Law Firm Diversity Report Card released by the Houston Multi-Bar Diversity Committee. According to John Strasburger, Weil Gotshal partner and head of the firm’s Houston office, “We are proud of this recognition by the Houston Multi-Bar Diversity Committee. At every level, we are committed to being a leader in meaningful diversity programs that produce results and benefit all our attorneys and staff, and we have focused on these important issues for a very long time.”
The Houston Multi-Bar Diversity Committee is comprised of the Houston Lawyers Association, the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston, the Mexican American Bar Association of Houston and the Asian American Bar Association of Houston. The Committee’s evaluation is based on a survey of the hiring and retention practices of minority attorneys of 21 of the largest law firms in Houston.
