Arthur de Baudry d’Asson is an M&A specialist, active in all types of public and private M&A (with a focus on public takeovers).
In the past year, Mr. de Baudry d’Asson was involved in a large number of public M&A transactions, including where substantial involvement can be disclosed, advising Suez in the spin-off of Suez Environment in the context of its merger with Gaz de France; Vinci on the acquisition of French listed company Entrepose Contracting; Axa Private Equity on the disposal of its interest in French listed company Camaïeu; Suez in its defense against threats of takeover; Alcatel SA on certain French law aspects in the context of the Alcatel - Lucent merger; Weinberg Capital Partners on the acquisition of French listed company Sasa Industrie; Ingenico on its merger with French listed company MoneyLine; and Casino on the sale of Leader Price assets in Poland.
Some of the notable assignments in which Mr. de Baudry d’Asson was involved recently include advising several CAC 40 companies in their hostile takeover defense options.
Arthur de Baudry d’Asson graduated in 1994 from the French business school Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), and in 1997 with a Master of Law from the University of Panthéon-Sorbonne. He received in 2000 a LLM degree from Harvard Law School and is admitted to the Paris Bar (1996) and the New York Bar.
