Arjun Mehra is a Patent Litigation associate in Weil’s Silicon Valley office.
Mr. Mehra has been part of multiple Weil teams advising Apple in its patent litigation against Motorola Mobility over mobile telecommunication and television set-top box technologies, including a team that successfully defended Apple against claims filed in the ITC. He has also participated in representing eBay in its patent infringement lawsuits against XPRT and Soverain Software, involving online payment, auction, and shopping systems. Most recently, Mr. Mehra participated in representing Cisco Systems in its ongoing litigation against TiVo over DVR technology.
Prior to joining Weil, Mr. Mehra spent a year as a legal analyst for the Stanford IP Litigation Clearinghouse at Stanford Law School, where he worked with post-graduate computer scientists to develop natural language processing algorithms for sentiment analysis of court filings and created data-driven reports of patent litigation trends for judges, academics, and private companies.
Mr. Mehra has an undergraduate degree in computer science, and is proficient in Korean.
