Andrew J. Yoon is a partner in the firm’s Corporate department and a member of the Banking & Finance practice. He represents borrowers, private equity sponsors and financial institutions on a wide variety of bank financing transactions, including acquisition financing, cross-border finance, middle market financing, asset-based lending, debtor-in-possession and exit financings and workouts and restructurings.
Mr. Yoon has represented various private equity sponsors in acquisition financings, including Providence Equity Partners, Avista Capital Partners, Diamond Castle Partners, Centre Partners and Lee Equity Partners. He has also recently represented the lead arrangers for senior secured credit facilities for Ford Motor Company, AMC Entertainment, West Corp., US Airways, Revlon and Georgia-Pacific. His restructuring experience includes debtor-in-possession financings for Friedman’s, Lionel, WorldCom and Enron, and exit facilities for Armstrong World Industries and Pliant Corporation.
Mr. Yoon is recognized as an “Up & Coming” lawyer in Banking & Finance by Chambers USA 2013.
Mr. Yoon received a JD, cum laude, from Vermont Law School in 1999, where he was the Symposium Editor of the Vermont Law Review, and a BA in Political Studies from Bard College in 1994.
