Mr. Perito is a litigation attorney specializing in patent and complex litigation. He has represented clients at the trial and appellate level in disputes involving a variety of web and internet search and advertising applications, audio and video telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and optical networking. He has been involved in all aspects of patent case management and trial preparation, including taking and defending depositions, arguing at claim construction, and preparing witnesses at trial.
Mr. Perito received his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2008, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a finalist in the Jerome Michel Jury Trial competition. Mr. Perito was selected to serve as a judicial extern, in his second year, for the Honorable Barbara S. Jones, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York, and in his third year, for the Honorable Judge Sonia M. Sotomayor, then United States Circuit Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Perito graduated from Harvard College in 2001 with an A.B. in Government.
