Andrea Bidegaray is an associate in the Corporate Department of Weil, Gotshal and Manges' Boston office. Ms. Bidegaray focuses on a variety of matters including mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, and general corporate matters relating to the portfolio companies of private equity clients. Prior to joining Weil, Ms. Bidegaray worked at Univision Communications, Inc. as counsel for Business Affairs with the Distribution Sales and Marketing group. While at Univision, Ms. Bidegaray negotiated retransmission consent and distribution agreements with multichannel video programing distributors.
Ms. Bidegaray received a BA magna cum laude from Boston College, and a JD summa cum laude from Suffolk University Law School, where she was the Chief Symposium Editor of the Transnational Law Review. She is fluent in Spanish.
